Here's a song I made up for Yoshi, sing it to the tune of 'All By Myself'...
When you were born,
I peered at you in the face,
To me you were a big disgrace,
And then that passed...
You never left my sight,
And we both took the frustration,
Until I could take no more,
And I took it out on you...
All by myself,
Don't wanna be,
All by myself,
Anymore...
All by myself,
Don't wanna be,
All by myself,
Anymore...
As time passed,
I was growing attached to you,
Till I could take no more,
And then I let you die...
All by myself,
Don't wanna be,
All by myself,
Anymore...
All by myself,
Don't wanna be,
All by myself,
Anymore...
Now I regret it,
Why did I let you die now?
Why didn't I let you live longer?
I blame myself...!
Yoshi the Ojitchi
Some time ago (I forgot when), I hatched an egg on my v3. I hatched a boy, and called it Yoshi. Yoshi was with me always, like my v1, and it evolved into a Mametchi for its adult form. When Yoshi turned 10, he evolved into an Ojitchi. Or is it Oyajitchi, I mix them up!
Anyway, we both took frustration together. Finally, I couldn't take any more. I gave way. I let you die on me... had I not taken out frustration on you, you would have lived longer. I hope you are having fun at Tama Heaven. (By the way, your angel didn't have a halo. I reckon it should have had one. You were a good Tamagotchi!)
Mika the Yangu Mametchi
Okay, okay, Mika hasn't really returned to the Tamagotchi world yet, but... oh, it's very hard to explain in a few words. Let me continue...
One time I got frustrated at my version 3, so I took it apart and removed the IR connectors. However I didn't screw it tightly enough on one side so it was slightly open, but it didn't really do much. Not at the moment, anyway.
However... on the 23rd of December 2006 (a day that leaves me horrid air travel memories due to something called an aeroplane toilet), I took my Tamagotchi versions 1 and 3 on the plane as well as my neighbour's v1. Because the dude at the check-in counter who looked like the stereotypical IT specialist didn't let me take my Tamagotchi in the cabin with me, I was forced to put it in my luggage. My dad told me to put it in a "secure spot" (note the inverted commas).
So I had my (lovely, fantastic, excellent flight... note the sarcasm) and at the end of it, took my Tamagotchi out of my luggage to find that they'd moved everywhere, my v3 had reset (so I had to download it) and...
The A button on BOTH of MY Tamagotchi (ironically enough not my neighbour's) didn't work as well as it used to. The v3 was REALLY bad, I sometimes had to push it with my Nintendo DS's stylus or a pencil. I cared for my Tamagotchi as best as I could in Singapore (I can't give perfect care on vacation, especially when we went to the shops as it was quite a bit noiser than the shopping centers around where I live in Australia, especially Vivo City, the biggest shopping center in Singapore). There was a ticket to Australia in the Tamagotchi's shop once, so I bought it :) The Tamagotchi on my v3 that I had when I left Singapore was Lucy, a Tsunotchi, named after one of the- well, I don't know how to explain it, she just stood out like a sore thumb amongst all of them with bright red short hair and a tendancy to exaggerate things- flight attendants in the cabin. So I put my Tamagotchi in a box for that flight and it didn't get worse (thank goodness for that!!!) and when I got home sent it on a flight to Australia. (I hope it didn't get terrorised by the aeroplane toilet... lol)
But caring soon was hard. When Lucy's (the Tamagotchi of course, not the flight attendant) daughter (or maybe granddaughter) was born I named it Mika. I found it really difficult to care for the Tamagotchi then, and when the battery died, I removed the battery in grief.
And about taking my Tamagotchi apart and not screwing it back together properly? To quote one of the flight attendants on my flight to Singapore- "Next time you know not to." In this case it obviously means me not you and now I know not to take my Tamagotchi apart and remove the IR connectors (not like what the flight attendant actually meant- well, to tell the truth I don't KNOW what she actually meant, she said it to me after I came out of the aeroplane toilet breathing heavily).
